Community Connection does not charge for community organizations to utilize the space, but there are requirements for the types of events that we host. The event must align with the values and goals of the center and must be free & open to the public. To request the space for an event, you must formally submit a request to the FEC staff & Advisory Committee, a group of local community members with oversight over the center. A Family Enrichment Center (FEC) is a home-like space designed to be warm and welcoming. It is open free of charge to all, a place where community members can connect, contribute to their community, find resources, learn, and share with others. Each Family Enrichment Center partners staff with community and parent leaders to co-design and co-facilitate offerings that help people connect and thrive. 

We are always looking to build new relationships with new community members. The best way to get involved in the center is first by stopping by and visiting us. You can participate or volunteer in our events that pique your interest, make suggestions, attend PAC meetings, and it all starts the moment you walk in the door. There are no expectations at Community Connection except for you to have a great positive experience. 

The Family Enrichment Center is funded by ACS and our host organization is Forestdale Inc. ACS funds multiple Family Enrichment Centers just like "Community Connection" through community-based nonprofit organizations such as Forestdale Inc.
